Jack Early Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Doyet Arnold “Jack” Early, Jr., age 85, of Gainesville, GA died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Morningside of Gainesville. Mr. Early was born in Beaufort, South Carolina to the late, D.A. “Jack” and Jessie Ross Early, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII. In addition to his parents, Mr. Early was preceded in death by a brother, George Milton Early.Mr. Early is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Mary Privette Early of Gainsville, GA, three sons and daughters-in-law, Judge Jack and Lee Early of Bamberg, SC, Joe and Carolyn Early of Whitakers, NC, Dr. Bill and Donna Early of Canton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ted Evans of Commerce, GA; daughter, Ms. Martha Buxton of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Will and Dasher Early, Katie and Kevin Layman, Allison and Chris Facuett, David and Tabitha Evans; grandchildren, Ross, Joseph, Paul, John, Matthew, and Mary Early, Catherine and Daniel Buxton; three great-grandchildren, Lesesne and Harvey Early, and Kara Layman.Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Little-Davenport Funeral Home from 1:30 – 3:00 PM Sunday.
