Mrs. Barbara Joyce Black

Mrs. Barbara Joyce Black, age 87, of Lula passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at The Retreat at Buford. Mrs. Black was born in Suwanee to the late, Claude and Kate Mitchell Spriggs. Mrs. Black was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Black was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas “JT” Black. Mrs. Black is survived by her daughters, Connie Lynch (Mike) of Duluth, Cathy Eubanks (John) of Concord, and Cindy Burton of Lula; son, Jimmy Black (Teresa) of Suwanee; sister, Claudette Williams of Lawrenceville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jean Spriggs of Suwanee. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 19th at 11 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Troy Jones officiating with the interment following at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9AM- 11AM. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
