Mrs. Dorothy Brenda Thomas Garrett, age 78, of Nicholson, GA died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Northridge Health and Rehab. Mrs. Garrett was born in Commerce to the late Odell and Florence Lord Thomas. She was a retired waitress. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Alan Garrett. Mrs. Garrett is survived by her son, Chris Bowen (Michelle) of Nicholson; daughters, Melba Brock of Royston, Shelia Patrick (John) of Danielsville and Joy Carter (Lamar) of Alto; 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 1 graveside at Nicholson Cemetery with Rev. Marty Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 9 to 10 AM. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
