Mr. Edward J. "Mac" McDonald

February 10, 1935 - January 19, 2022

Mr. Edward J. “Mac” McDonald, age 86, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his residence. Mr. McDonald was born in Jefferson, GA to the late Edward Lewis and Vinnie J. Carlyle McDonald. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran. Mr. McDonald was retired from Westinghouse. In addition to his parents, Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his daughter, Letha Kay Stamper and brother, Jerry Edward McDonald.. Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Mathews McDonald; children, Jerry McDonald, Vicki Tadlock, Pansy Bond, Timothy Lewis McDonald, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Nunns; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022 graveside at Woodbine Cemetery with Rev. Danny Green officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 PM. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
