Mrs. Monica Lee Elrod, age 36, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Piedmont Athens. Mrs. Elrod was born in Commerce to Brenda Townsend Elrod of Commerce and the late, James Howard Elrod. She was a homemaker. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Elrod is survived by her husband, Kevin Burnette; daughters, Eve Fisher and Ensley Evans both of Commerce; son, Jim Evans of Commerce; and brother, Greg Elrod of Gainesville. Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, January 15 graveside at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Blake Carter and Rev. Verlin Reece officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church Building Fund. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
